Matthew 25:40, where Jesus says, "Truly, I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you did for me."

This past Christmas, Hesed had the joy and privilege of sharing love and hope with the children of Abba Father Illam and Mahanaim Ministries through a heartfelt donation. As part of our commitment to caring for the vulnerable and bringing light to those in need, funds were contributed to support festive celebrations, gifts, and essential needs for the children.

The initiative aimed to ensure that every child felt the warmth of the season and the assurance that they are seen, valued, and cherished. Through this act of giving, Hesed was able to partner with these wonderful ministries in creating memorable moments and uplifting the hearts of many young lives.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be a small part of something so meaningful and look forward to continuing our journey of compassion and service.

More than just a shelter, Abba Father Illam is a family. It is a place where lives are rebuilt, dreams are rekindled, and faith is nurtured. Every resident is embraced with dignity and given opportunities to grow in their God-given potential. Through consistent care, discipleship, and a foundation of prayer, the Illam strives to raise individuals who will become beacons of hope in their communities.

At the heart of Abba Father Illam is a deep desire to reflect the unconditional love of our Heavenly Father—Abba—and to extend that love to the least, the last, and the lost.

The Youth Ministry is a vibrant and dynamic community committed to raising up a generation of young people who know Jesus, grow in faith, and boldly live out their calling. Rooted in the Word of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit, our ministry provides a space where youth can encounter God, build authentic friendships, and discover their purpose.

Through engaging Bible studies, worship sessions, mentoring, camps, and outreach programs, we aim to equip young hearts and minds to stand firm in their faith and make a lasting impact in their schools, families, and communities. We believe the youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow—they are world changers today.

Our vision is simple: to see every young person transformed by the love of Christ and walking confidently in their identity as sons and daughters of God.

The Kannagi Nagar Christian Outreach Program- Christmas Celebration- 2024

The Kannagi Nagar Christian Outreach Program is a faith-driven initiative committed to bringing the love, hope, and compassion of Jesus Christ to the heart of Kannagi Nagar — a community known for its resilience, diversity, and potential.

Rooted in the Gospel's call to serve "the least of these" (Matthew 25:40), the outreach program seeks to address both spiritual and practical needs by extending a hand of care, support, and fellowship to families in need.

Mission and Vision
Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Christ in Kannagi Nagar — to walk alongside the community, uplift the vulnerable, and build lasting relationships grounded in faith and mutual respect. We believe that true transformation begins when hearts are touched by both the Word of God and acts of unconditional love.

Hesed and Mahanaim Ministries at Yelagiri Camp 2024

In 2024, Hesed Ministries had the joy of joining hands with Mahanaim Ministries for a spiritually enriching camp held at Yelagiri. Organized by Mahanaim Ministries, the camp served as a time of refreshing, revival, and deeper fellowship with God and one another. Over several days, participants engaged in powerful worship, impactful teaching sessions, and heartfelt prayer, all set against the serene backdrop of Yelagiri’s hills.

The collaboration between Hesed and Mahanaim Ministries was marked by unity, love, and a shared passion for seeing lives transformed by the gospel. The camp not only strengthened individual faith journeys but also deepened the bond between the two ministries, fostering a spirit of mutual encouragement and support.

Abba Father Illam, a place to house widows and children, including babies. Some of these children were either orphaned due to the pandemic or were rescued from cruel and abusive surroundings. We are thrilled to share that thanks to the incredible support of the people who donated towards making a brighter change in the lives of many, we successfully raised donations to help children get through the holiday season! The contributions went towards spreading joy and making the holiday season brighter for those in need.
