The Atlanta Champion League is a one-day soccer tournament and a multi-platform, 3-month fundraising compet
ition formed by varying number of European soccer clubs-inspired teams with the objective to raise funds and to compete in May in a soccer tournament. During this period, soccer celebrities are engaged, diplomatic offices are activated, fundraising strategies are designed and team names and local players’ rosters are selected.
** Soccer in the Street is a GA 501c3 NPO established in 1989 and operating from DT Atlanta. Soccer in the Streets empowers underserved youth through soccer, character development, mentoring, and employability programs. Soccer in the Streets has pioneered the use of soccer for social change since its launch in 1989. Throughout the 1990's, Soccer in the Streets introduced soccer to many urban and underserved communities through soccer clinics. With a focus on our home base of Atlanta in recent years, Soccer in the Streets has created programming geared towards preparing youth for success on and off the field. With prominent support from the Coca-Cola Foundation and the FIFA Football For Hope movement, as well as personal donations from charitable individuals through a fundraising campaign, Soccer in The Streets launched School of Life – the pinnacle initiative of Soccer in the Streets
