ATL shows up for Haiti. On our last mission we packed hundreds of barrels of relief and hand-delivered them to families in need. Now Hurricane Melissa has devastated communities in Haiti and Jamaica, and we’re mobilizing again.

What we need right now:
• Funds to cover transport, shipping, and customs clearance so aid gets in fast
• Essential supplies: non-perishable food, water purification tabs/filters, diapers & wipes, feminine care, first-aid/OTC meds, tarps/rope, flashlights & batteries, solar chargers, toiletries, baby formula, blankets

We hope everyone is keeping their head above water and enjoying life to the fullest in this season ✊🏾

We need your help getting care packages and essential items to families in Haiti and to Haitian migrant families newly residing in the US.

Our outreach team has made it back to the states safe and sound. Thank you donors and sponsors for your support! This Haitian Refugee outreach was highly impactful. We volunteered at Project Esperanza and distributed clean water filters and hygiene care packages to the community. Life changing experience ❤️

🚨Dream Community School Haiti Update🚨

Prior to getting the school back open, we have been offering a half day summer program to the kids in the community of Gressier, Haiti where Dream Community School is located.

Through donations we received so far since announcing this effort , we were able to cover our teachers pay for August and transportation cost for some of the students and staff to get to school.

The lessons so far have included:

Math
Spelling
Recreation
History

We plan to offer this program weekly up until the start of school.

Doing anything like this requires resources.

Making sure we get our students proper books, supplies, and materials to re-open is a top priority. The teachers will be using a standard curriculum and we will be assessing each students reading levels.

We also need to be able to provide them with at least one meal each day.

We’d also love to get them some uniforms at some point as well.

All the kids pictured have been out of school for 1-3 years for various reasons.

Education is not free in Haiti which makes what we are doing at Dream Community School that much more important.
