There’s always something new to learn...and someone new to welcome...at Vinings Cumberland Rotary!

This past week, we welcomed Katherine Raeymakers, Belgium’s Consul General in Atlanta, who shared how Belgium’s exports extend well beyond chocolate, waffles, and b**r. We enjoyed learning about the country’s innovations, particularly in logistics, though we’re still fans of all three! 🇧🇪

We also had the pleasure of welcoming Lloyd Prince as our newest member. Lloyd, we’re glad you’re here and look forward to serving alongside you!

Interested in connecting with neighbors and making a difference in our community? Join us for a meeting (next one is tomorrow 10/14 at 12 noon)! Learn more about our club at the link below.

A new season is here bringing a little cooler weather, changing leaves, and a reminder that even small changes can make a lasting difference.

At the Vinings Cumberland Rotary Club, our commitment remains the same in every season: serving our community, building connections, and finding meaningful ways to create lasting impact...right here at home and beyond.

You ran. You walked. You sponsored. Now your support goes to work. 💙

Each year, proceeds from the Vinings Down Hill 5K Run for the Kids help the Vinings Cumberland Rotary Club support nonprofit organizations making a difference for children and youth in our community.

Our 2026–2027 charitable grant application is now open, with a focus on organizations and programs serving children and youth in Cobb County.

Important: This year’s application deadline has moved up to October 15!

Know a local nonprofit doing great work for Cobb County kids? Help us spread the word by sharing this post or tagging them below.

Today, the Vinings Cumberland Rotary Club honors the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families forever changed, and the courage of those who stepped forward to serve others.

May we never forget the sacrifice, the bravery, and the unity that followed.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Some of the best connections happen over a cup of coffee. ☕️

On the second Friday of each month, members of the Vinings-Cumberland and Smyrna Rotary Clubs come together for a casual morning of business networking, conversation and connection at Panera Bread.

It’s a chance to learn more about what your fellow Rotarians do professionally, share a little about your own work and strengthen relationships beyond our regular club meetings. No presentations, no pressure—just good conversation with good people.

📅 Second Friday of each month (next one September 11, 2026)
📍 Panera Bread | 3625 Spring Hill Road, Atlanta, GA 30339
☕️ Buy your own breakfast or coffee
⏰ 8:00 am

Whether you’re looking to grow your professional network or simply get to know your fellow Rotarians better, we’d love to have you join us.

Last week, Vinings Cumberland Rotary was honored to welcome District Governor Cynthia Edwards to our weekly meeting! (Pictured here with Club President Jennifer Humphrey).

Governor Edwards shared her vision for the year ahead and challenged each of us to think intentionally about how we can create meaningful, lasting impact - through our club, in our community, and beyond. We’re grateful for her leadership, encouragement, and the energy she brought to our meeting.

And there’s more to look forward to this week! We’re excited to welcome Suzanne Tucker, Executive Director of the Georgia Symphony Orchestra, as our featured speaker. 🎶

There’s always something happening at Vinings Cumberland Rotary, and we’d love for you to learn more about who we are, what we do, and how you can get involved.
