"Whelm", "overwhelm", and "underwhelm" are words that have similar meanings, but can also be used in different contexts:
Whelm
Can mean to submerge or engulf, or it can be used as a synonym for "overwhelm". For example, someone might feel "whelmed" with happy feelings. "Whelm" can also describe being engaged, productive, and useful, and is considered a middle ground between "underwhelmed" and "overwhelmed".
Overwhelm
Can refer to many different physical and mental situations, and most commonly means to cause someone to be overcome with emotion due to too much of something, such as work or stress. For example, someone might feel "overwhelmed" by intense waves that threaten to swallow them up.
Underwhelm
Usually only refers to people's feelings toward something, and means to fail to impress, especially when that is the expectation. For example, someone might find a movie to be "underwhelming" if they were expecting it to be exciting. The prefix "under-" in "underwhelm" essentially means "too little".

🔵Over fifty percent of identified girl victims are aged between 15 and 17, whereas about forty percent of trafficked boys are under 12 years of age.
🔵13 is the average age of AZ youth entering s*x trafficking
🔵90% of children trafficked in the U.S. are U.S. citizens
🔵1/3 of runaway children will be lured into prostitution within 48 hours of leaving home
