TAAC Partner Updates: Stay Connected. Stay Engaged.

The ATL Airport Chamber is proud to keep our members and partners connected to important conversations, organizations, and opportunities happening throughout our region.

On **Tuesday, August 25 from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM**, the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District will host its Joint Technical Coordinating Committee meeting at the Georgia Association of Water Professionals in Marietta, with a virtual option available.

The discussion will include regional water supply and conservation planning, **data centers in Metro Atlanta**, wastewater planning, aging infrastructure, and the 2028 Water Resources Management Plan.
We are also excited to share an opportunity to support **The Eden Project: A Warrior Support Foundation** at its **Veterans Day 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Town at Trilith in Fayetteville, Georgia.**

The Eden Project provides veterans and their families with reintegration support, peer support, wellness programs, employment assistance, housing efforts, VA claims assistance, and other community-based resources.

The Veterans Day 5K will bring together veterans, families, businesses, civic leaders, and community supporters to raise awareness around veteran mental health and provide meaningful support for those navigating life after military service. Sponsorship opportunities range from **$250 to $10,000**.

At TAAC, partnership means more than membership. It means sharing opportunities, supporting one another’s work, and making sure our business community stays connected to the issues and initiatives shaping our region.

Chamber Around Town What is your Chamber up to? On July 15, the ATL Airport Chamber was proud to attend the Clayton County Mega WatchFest at The Arena at Southlake in Morrow, Georgia. Representing the Chamber were President & CEO Carmenlita Scott and Dr. Kim McNair, who joined the Clayton County Board of Commissioners, community leaders, business professionals, residents, and visitors for an exciting afternoon celebrating the global spirit of soccer and the growing momentum surrounding the region. The Mega WatchFest showcased how major sporting events can unite communities while creating opportunities for economic development, tourism, and regional collaboration. As the Atlanta region prepares to welcome visitors from around the world, events like these demonstrate the importance of partnerships among local governments, businesses, and community organizations. The ATL Airport Chamber was honored to support this initiative and strengthen relationships with leaders who are working together to elevate the South Metro region. The ATL Airport Chamber looks forward to continuing to partner with organizations that celebrate our communities, promote regional growth, and create opportunities for businesses to connect and thrive. What an amazing day! ✈️🎒❤️

We had so much fun at Stuff the Plane, and I am still smiling thinking about the energy, excitement, laughter, and joy throughout the day.

A huge THANK YOU to every sponsor, school, teacher, chaperone, volunteer, supporter, partner, photographer, bus driver, staff member, and member of The ATL Airport Chamber team who helped bring this experience to life. It truly took a village, and everyone showed up ready to serve, support, and make the day special for our students.

From the backpacks and lunches to the photos, activities, new experiences, and all the little moments in between, our goal was to create a day these young people could simply enjoy—and I think we did exactly that.

I am incredibly grateful to everyone who donated their time, talents, resources, and energy to make Stuff the Plane 2026 such a success.
