CAI will be hosting its annual Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC) on Friday, February 5th from 10am-4:30pm EST. Recreate the roll of the "sharks" on Shark Tank by conducting due diligence on 4 startups, presenting an investment thesis to venture capitalists, and participating in mock negotiations.

The Alternative Investments Group is proud to present an evening presentation and networking reception with Mitchell Tanzman, Co-Chief Executive Officer & Co-Chief Investment Officer at Central Park Group. The event will take place on Thursday, February 12 at 5:30 pm in GBS W525 and is open to all undergraduate students and graduate students. Business formal attire is required.

About Mitchell Tanzman:
Mitchell Tanzman, an Emory alum, is a founding partner of the Central Park Group. Tanzman has invested more than $12 billion in alternative investments over the past 25 years, including more than $2.5 billion in private equity funds. Tanzman was previously the Co-Head of UBS Financial Services Alternative Investment Group.

Join AIG this Thursday (1/22) at 6pm in GBS 331 to hear Invesco’s Colin Meadows (Chief Administrative Officer) and John Coleman (Head of Strategy and Business Planning).

They will be speaking about the alternatives industry and their experiences working with Private Equity firms, Hedge Funds, and Real Assets.

Invesco has great career opportunities for undergraduates and there will be a chance to network.
