Today we celebrate International Women’s Day — and for me, this day is a reminder that being a woman is not just about strength… it’s about legacy, leadership, and lifting others as we rise.

I’m honored to be a woman who didn’t just build success for herself, but who made a commitment to open doors for other women to walk through.

Over the years, I’ve hosted over 1,000 FREE business classes because I believe when one woman wins, we all win. Leaders don’t just talk about change… leaders lead.

And this week means even more to me because on March 11, it’s my official proclamation day from the city of Atlanta recognizing my work in leading women to economic elevation and empowerment.

From helping women start businesses, grow their income, build confidence, and believe in their power — this mission has always been bigger than me.

This moment is not just my celebration.
It’s a celebration of every woman who chose courage over comfort.

Today I stand proud to say:

As a black female nurse entrepreneur, I am here to address an urgent need: the lack of diversity in aesthetics and the essential representation for skin of color. At La-Mon’e Aesthetics, our mission is clear: to create a safe and inclusive space where individuals with all skin tones can feel comfortable, understood, and empowered. With my wisdom of nursing and the precision of artistry, I’ve curated a range of treatments that rejuvenate aging skin and enhance natural features utilizing Injectables (Botox and Filler), maintaining a natural result.
