A warm meal. A kind word. A moment of welcome.

This season, we’re giving thanks for you — our volunteers, partners, and friends who keep hospitality alive even when our kitchen doors are temporarily closed.

Through sack lunch builds, care packages, and community support, you’re proving that love made visible doesn’t depend on a building — it’s carried in every act of compassion. 💛

As we gather in gratitude, may we remember that every gift opens a door — to dignity, hope, and belonging.

🌾 A Quick Note from Crossroads! 🌾

Crossroads will be closed this Friday, November 14, for an Administrative Day as our team takes time to reset, reconnect, and prepare for this busy season of service and gratitude. 💛

There will be no kitchen or mailroom services or volunteer shifts that day, but we’ll reopen Monday, November 17, ready to continue walking alongside our neighbors with open doors and open hearts.

This pause helps us keep our commitment to radical hospitality — making sure that every meal, every conversation, and every act of care honors the dignity of those we serve.

Thank you for standing with us, for showing up, and for helping ensure that every gift opens a door. 🕊️

🚨 Advocacy Alert: Sign the Petition for More Public Restrooms in Downtown Atlanta! 🚨

Imagine going through your day without access to a safe, clean restroom. Many of our neighbors experiencing homelessness downtown face this every day. Access to restrooms isn’t just a convenience — it’s a matter of health, safety, and dignity.

Our friends at Central Outreach & Advocacy Center are organizing a petition to present to the Mayor this October, asking for more public restrooms. Every signature counts.

Together, we can help make our city one where dignity is part of everyone’s daily life.

To some, a scarcity of public restrooms might seem like a minor issue. But if you’ve ever walked around downtown Atlanta and needed a restroom, or had to detour past a dirty sidewalk, you know it’s not minor. For most of us - residents, commuters, visitors - it's an inconvenience. But for the hu...

🏳️🌈💦 What a day at the Atlanta Pride Parade!

Crossroads was honored to join our friends at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church to hand out water, smiles, and encouragement along the parade route. Together, we celebrated love, inclusion, and community — the same values that guide our work every day at Crossroads.

We’re so grateful to everyone who volunteered, cheered, and helped us keep our neighbors hydrated and cared for under the rainbow. 🌈💛

Crossroads will be closed Monday, October 13, in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day. We’ll reopen for regular services on Tuesday, October 14.

As we pause for the holiday, we honor the strength, wisdom, and enduring presence of Indigenous peoples—the first stewards of this land—whose resilience continues to guide us toward justice, care, and connection.

Thank you to our volunteers and guests for planning ahead and joining us in reflection and respect.

🚨 Service Update from Crossroads 🚨

Crossroads is still here for our neighbors — but to keep everyone safe during Pathway to Dignity construction, some services are shifting temporarily.

⚠️ Please do not line up in front of the mural. That area is unsafe during construction.

Here’s what to know:

❌ Closed Tuesday, Sept. 16: Clyde’s Kitchen + The Renewal Project Mailroom

✅ Still Open: Door-to-Door Housing Program

📅 Starting Wednesday, Sept. 17:
• 🍴 Clyde’s Kitchen → Sack lunch prep (8:30–10 a.m., enter through back door) with distribution on the Housing Side
• 📬 Renewal Project Mailroom → Open 9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. on the Housing Side under St. Luke’s

Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we continue to serve with dignity and care while making our building safer for all. 💙

💧✨ Hydration + Hospitality at Dragon Con ✨💧

On Sunday, August 30, Crossroads joined with our friends at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church to share a simple gift at the Dragon Con Parade: water for the marchers.

In the middle of costumes, crowds, and celebration, our volunteers passed out bottles of water—small acts of care that make a big difference. Because whether in a parade or in daily life, dignity means showing up for our neighbors.

Huge thanks to St. Luke’s and all the amazing volunteers who helped us carry compassion into the heart of Atlanta’s biggest weekend of fandom. 🧡💙
