Thunderbay Quilt Guild

Thunderbay Quilt Guild Thunderbay Quilt Guild has about 60 members, all with different quilting interests and skill levels. New members are always welcome!

The Guild meets at the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce building on Pettenger Road in Atlanta, Michigan every Tuesday. Thunderbay Quilt Guild has been in existence for over 25 years. The Guild currently has 74 members from all over northeast Michigan. The Guild meets at the Atlanta Senior Center on the first Thursday of each month at 10 a.m. and most Tuesdays for Sit & Sews, Project Days and/or Charity Sews.

A message from Leslie Munday - so good to hear she is feeling better! Good morning Pam,
Just wanted to ask you to extend my Thankfulness to everyone for the prayers and Thoughts during a scary moment unexpected. Apparently I had pneumonia since my last illness in December and didn't know it. Then got a virus again a couple days within Mother's Day, which took the toll on me. Went to Doctors Monday a.m. cause how bad It was and getting worse. Oxygen was so low they sent me to ER via Ambulance. I didn't even have a cough.
Been home now for a few days recovering light duty and monitoring my oxygen level. I feel a Ton better. So let everyone know please I said Thank you so so much! There is nothing like the good Air the Lord gives us to breathe and the ability to do so.

On another note Tuesday I will bring all the FPP class tools for sale, so they can buy and take with for class in a few weeks. Gives them some time to look it over.
I got another roll of batting for the guild I will bring Tuesday.
I think that's it for now.

Twelve Guild members met yesterday and did what we all enjoy - we sewed. Nine girls worked on making aprons - hopefully everyone will bring their finished aprons to our next Show and Tell on Tuesday, June 2. We also enjoyed a potluck lunch with the perfect variety of delicousness! Thanks girls. Next up is a Sit and Sew on Tuesday, May 26. This is a perfect time to chit-chat, laugh, visit and even get something accomplished. Hope to see you then!

Here is the information on the apron project for tomorrow's Project Day. You do not have to make an apron to attend our Project Day tomorrow, bring a project and enjoy the day with fellow members. And if you don't want to bring a project just join us at noon for a potluck lunch! See you tomorrow!
