The Shirlock Foundation

The Shirlock Foundation's mission is to ease the financial burden faced by families of college students who have been diagnosed with cancer.

While The Shirlock Foundation has its roots in the Georgia Tech Greek Community, it is the Foundation's hope that it is embraced by everyone in the city of Atlanta and beyond. Today, Georgia Tech Greeks remain active in contributing to the Shirlock Foundation, and the Foundation is enthusiastically seeking the aid and support of other college campuses and corporate organizations.

Meet our co founder Ben Hollerbach! After losing his friend Jonathan Shirlock, his girlfriend Sara Keene was also diagnosed with Leukemia, Ben quickly got to work in finding a way to help. Since 2007, the Shirlock Foundation has financially assisted 13 students diagnosed with cancer through the Sara Keene Memorial Scholarship.
