Miracle for Mom

Miracle for Mom raises awareness and money for CurePSP and other debilitating brain diseases. Unfortunately, her condition is often misdiagnosed.

Miracle for Mom is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to finding a cure for rare brain diseases like Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and ALS. The Foundation is inspired by Janice Murphy who battled the effects of PSP. Janice's condition attacked nerve cells near her brain stem that control walking, balance, mobility, vision, speech and swallowing. She began expe

riencing symptoms of PSP three years prior to her diagnosis. PSP has no known cause, treatment or cure and approximately 5 out of every 100,000 people will develop it in their lifetime. Janice lost her fight to this disorder in October of 2014 with her loving family by her side.
