Just a millennial first daughter - who was told she could have it all, do it all, and may have believed worth was in achievements and keeping busy. So here we are, with a full time job, a non profit, volunteering to coach and such, and with 10mos old twins. And I’m not sure I would have it any other way… it could lead to burn out but it also leads to joy, community, love, and being thankful I get to do this. Spent the late morning with the popup. Although I was there to talk about and what funding and volunteers help us accomplish in our community, I also got to witness the wonderful earn a White Rose for all the work she has done as an ally to the Jewish community. We are so thankful for the work at KSU (where I work in my day job) and for the Jewish community, but also across Georgia to reach varied populations. I am also always so thankful for her support in what we do .

It’s officially Hanukkah season, and 3 days and counting until Hanukkah! This season seems to be slower. Quieter. And we don’t hate it. But still, nothing beasts the smell of latkes. Or the shimmer of the silver. And the sounds of laughter and dreidels, and the sound of klezmer music. Thankfully, we got our first taste of Hanukkah at Hemshech’s annual Hanukkah party!

We can’t wait to be a part of this camp fair! We will be a part of the camp gear swap AND doing a Judaica Swap! Come on ...
