What a day!

JLA leaders recently kicked off Year 110 at our annual Leadership Retreat! We were generously hosted by Agape Youth & Family Center, a valued JLA community partner working to empower children and families to discover, embrace, and achieve their full potential.

The day brought JLA leaders together for connection, collaboration, and planning for the year ahead. A special thank you to Junior League of New Orleans Past President Holly Paczak for sharing valuable leadership training and insight as our leaders prepare for the new League year. We also kicked off giving to JLAโ€™s Annual Fund for Year 110 and collected more than $1,000 in Old Navy gift cards to support families served by Agape Youth & Family Center get back to school ready.

Ready to serve. Ready to lead. Ready for Year 110.

JLA is where dynamic women come to give back to the community in meaningful ways, grow as leaders, and build friendship with other service-minded women. It's more than a volunteer organization - it's a community that will support you, challenge you in new ways, and invest in you.

Throwback to our May GMM and Gavel Pass. โœจ

One of our most cherished traditions took place on May 19th as JLA officially welcomed its incoming leadership team for the 2026โ€“2027 League year. The Gavel Pass is more than a ceremony; it is a symbol of the trust, continuity, and shared mission that has carried this organization forward for over a century.

To our outgoing leaders: thank you. The dedication, grace, and vision you brought to the 2025โ€“2026 League year left this organization stronger than you found it. We are deeply grateful. ๐Ÿ’›

To our incoming team: the League is ready for your leadership, the mission is clear, and we cannot wait to see where you take us.
