This weekend, we gathered to celebrate the everlasting impact of a wish, and it was a night we will never forget. 💙✨⁠

Wish Ball 2026 was filled with laughter, tears, incredible stories, and a whole lot of heart. From our silent and live auctions to a spirited game of Kahoot, every moment of the evening was a reminder of why wishes matter and whose stories are at the center of it all: our wish kids.⁠

Together, we raised $2.5 million to help grant wishes for critically ill children in Georgia! 🌟⁠

We are still in awe of the generosity poured into that room, and we are so deeply grateful to every donor, sponsor, and supporter who helped make this night possible. Because of you, wishes will be granted, hope will be restored, and children across Georgia will have moments of joy they will carry with them for a lifetime.⁠

Eight-year-old Demeiah loves taking walks, riding her scooter, and dancing to TikTok videos. But after being diagnosed with a brain tumor, much of her childhood became filled with medical appointments, treatments, and uncertainty.

When Demeiah learned she was being granted a wish, she knew exactly where she wanted to go: Disney World! 💙

Wish day brought Demeiah and her family to the Sunshine State, where they stayed at Give Kids The World Village before heading to the parks. She explored, rode rides, met beloved characters, sampled her favorite snacks, and danced whenever the music moved her, bringing her bright spirit to every single moment. ✨

For Demeiah, this wish was more than a vacation. It was a week filled with freedom, fun, and the chance to simply feel like herself again.

A heartfelt thank you to Colonial Group for making Demeiah’s Disney wish possible. Because of their generosity, this family has a new chapter filled with laughter, togetherness, and memories they will cherish forever. 🌟

This week's Wish Wednesday is for all the Dawgs fans out there. 🐾💙

Our friends at 11Alive are sharing a new wish kid story every week, and this week they're featuring 11-year-old Braxton, a die-hard UGA football fan and kidney transplant recipient who has faced challenges no child should have to navigate.

When Braxton learned he was being granted a wish, he knew exactly what he wanted: a UGA-inspired golf cart, complete with a great sound system and ready for neighborhood adventures. Before receiving his wish, the Mercer University Chi Omegas threw him a celebration filled with school spirit and the cheers of people who love him. Then, the cart was his.

Now Braxton cruises the neighborhood with his dog Mason by his side, music playing and Dawgs pride on full display. As his mom shared, "After the hospital stays, surgeries, and everything he has endured, seeing him smile, laugh, and enjoy being a kid again meant everything to me."

That is the power of a wish. ✨

As Childhood Cancer Awareness Month comes to a close, we're remembering that every year, nearly 600 children are diagnosed with cancer in Georgia. In such a difficult time, a wish can be a turning point. 💙⁠

Meet Heavenly Grace. At 18, she loves dogs, doing her hair and nails, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. After her cancer diagnosis, appointments, tests, and hard treatment days filled her life with uncertainty. Through it all, she found strength in her mom and best friend.⁠

Heavenly Grace's wish was to go to Hawaii, and she and her mom traded the worries of cancer for an island adventure together. They were welcomed with a traditional lei greeting, danced at a luau, explored Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, and relaxed on the beach. The most unforgettable moment was coming face-to-face with dolphins in a crystal-clear lagoon. 🐬🌺⁠

September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month, and today we are honoring the children and families who navigate this diagnosis every single day. 💙⁠

Meet Karis, a nine-year-old who loves gymnastics, art, STEM, and learning something new at every turn. Life with a blood disorder has brought challenges that most kids her age never have to think about, but through it all, her bright spirit has never wavered.⁠

When Karis learned she was being granted a wish, she knew exactly where she wanted to go: Hawaii. Ever since a Hawaiian-themed graduation in second grade, she had been dreaming about it. This summer, that dream came true on Oahu, where she received a traditional lei greeting, swam at the resort, visited the beach, and experienced a luau with her family. 🌺⁠

For Karis, this wish was a chance to set aside the hard days and simply be a kid, exactly where she had always dreamed of being.⁠

This week's Wish Wednesday is a father-son adventure story that will warm your heart. 💙⁠

Our friends at 11Alive are sharing a new wish kid story every week, and this week they're featuring nine-year-old Chance, who lives with a blood disorder and has shared a special bond with his dad ever since losing his mom at a very young age. Together, they dreamed of one thing: the ultimate adventure.⁠

Chance wished to visit Hawaii, and this summer, that dream came true. He and his dad were welcomed to Maui with a traditional lei greeting, toured the Maui Ocean Center with a marine naturalist, enjoyed a sunset dinner cruise, and spent their days exploring the island and swimming at the beach. And for Chance, the adventure began before they even landed, as this was his very first time flying! ✈️⁠

For this duo, the trip was so much more than a vacation. It was a celebration of their bond, a chance to experience joy after so much uncertainty, and memories they will carry with them for a lifetime. ✨⁠

Meet Maeve. At just 3 years old, she was diagnosed with cancer, and her days changed in ways no young child should ever have to experience. Through doctor visits, treatments, and long stretches of uncertainty, her bright spirit never stopped shining.⁠

Maeve's wish was to visit Disneyland and meet her favorite princess, Belle. And on her wish day, she did just that, exploring the park, seeing beloved characters come to life, and dancing with the princesses in a moment filled with pure childhood joy. ✨⁠
