CONSTITUTION
ARTICLE - Organization: Allied Organizations
SECTION1 - The name these shall be:
International Alliance of Apostolic Churches of Christ Jesus (AACCJ)
SECTION 2 - Purpose:
The purpose of this Alliance is to perpetuate the Alliance of Apostolic Churches of Christ Jesus, to teach the doctrines and beliefs of the Apostolic Faith and to
own, establish and maintain churches, institution or any facility for the purpose of promoting the growth of the AACCJ. ARTICLE 2 - Articles of the Apostolic Faith:
SECTION 1 - The Apostolic Faith is that set of doctrines believed in and practiced by the apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ, as found in the Holy Scriptures, especially in the New Testament. SECTION 2 - The Apostolic Faith includes such beliefs and doctrines as the infallibility of the Holy Scriptures, the oneness of God, water baptism by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the reception of the Holy Ghost by every believer with the initial evidence of speaking with other tongues as the spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:4), a holy life, rapture of the church, the second coming of Jesus Christ and the other 13 points of belief. The International Holy Convocation shall consist of all members of the Alliance of Apostolic Churches of Christ Jesus who attend. SECTION 2 - The purpose of the Holy Convocation:
The Annual International Holy Convocation Meeting of the alliance is for business, instruction in the Apostles’ Doctrine and beliefs, for the preaching and propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ and for fellowship. SECTION 3 - Finances and Allocations:
The International Holy Convocation is to receive, raise and allocate finances for the operation of the alliance. SECTION 4 - Legislation Adopted:
All legislation must be submitted and passed at the convening of this International Holy Convocation. All departments, boards, committees, and auxiliaries must submit their legislation to the executive body during the International Holy Convocation for ratification. Legislation must be approved by the Board of Directors and receive a two-thirds (2/3) majority of the vote by the Board of Bishops (B.O.B.) to pass and three-fourths (3/4) to amend, change, or annul. SECTION 5 - Program formats for each department will be planned in the International Holy Convocation and presented in the general conference meeting by the directors of the department to the Board of Directors for any changes. ARTICLE 4 - Annual General Conference:
SECTION 1 - There may be an annual meeting known as the AACCJ Annual General Conference (AGC) to be held at a time appointed and agreed by its Board of Directors (BOD). The purpose of the meeting shall be a final planning session and clearing of business agenda for the next (these requirements can be changed by proper legislation) meeting. SECTION 2 - This meeting shall be held on Thursday and Friday or days agreed upon by the Board of Directors. SECTION 3 - Board of Directors’ wives and department directors will present their program formats for the AACCJ International Holy Convocation for final approval before printing. SECTION 4 - The Planning Session Committees shall work both days and finalize the planning of the upcoming AACCJ International Holy Convocation. Each organization of the Alliance of Apostolic Churches of Christ Jesus shall report to each and every International Holy Convocation with three ($300 hundred dollars. ARTICLE 5 - Individual churches coming into the AACCJ wil:
SECTION 1 - be represented by one of the Board of Directors or Board of Bishops, and will represent financially as is determined by the circumstances prevailing. SECTION 2 - Bishops - $50.00
SECTION 3 - Individual Elders - $25.00
SECTION 4 - Suggestion – Individual Churches with a Bishop or Elder - $100 annual. SECTION 5 - Organizations with less than 5 churches and 300 members will donate $200. Consideration to be given to that Elder for installation to the office of Bishop by the AACCJ Executive Board after two years. Consideration will be given to serve on the Board of Bishops after two years and after three years consideration will be given to serve on the Board of Directors providing all circumstance are favorable. SECTION 6 - Organizations with more than 5 churches and 500 members will donate $500. Consideration to be given to that Elder for installation to the office of Bishop after one year and after two years consideration will be givento serve on the Board of Directors providing all circumstances are favorable and will serve as an alternate if needed.
