Hey Panthers! 👀 Join SAA for our General Body Meeting on March 31st at 6:00 PM at the Student Alumni Building, 60 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, GA. 💙🐾

Come out for food, fun and fellowship! We will have games and activities to connect with your fellow SAA members, and FREE Chipotle! 🌯🎲🤝

We will also be sharing important information about end of year opportunities, along with more details about executive board positions for those interested in getting more involved. 🛎️

From the ground crew to the forefront of today’s movements, Georgia State has long been a pinnacle of Black history and excellence : shaping leaders, changemakers, and visionaries who make an impact far beyond campus. 💙🐾

During Black History Month, we honor alumni who have used their education to lead, influence, and create opportunities for others. 🌎✊🏿

Keisha Lance Bottoms – Juris Doctor, GSU College of Law. Former Mayor of Atlanta who led the city through COVID-19 and the 2020 racial justice movement. Quote: “Georgia State helped create a work ethic in me that really has made all the difference.”

Andre Dickens – Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Current Mayor of Atlanta, focusing on economic equity, public safety, and community development.

Tiffany Blackmon – Bachelor’s Degree. ESPN sports broadcaster and former GSU student-athlete, recognized for increasing representation of Black women in national sports media.

Davonne Reaves – Bachelor’s Degree. Founder and CEO of The Vonne Group, creating pathways for Black ownership in commercial real estate and advancing economic empowerment.

These alumni demonstrate the continued impact of Georgia State in shaping Black leaders in government, media, and business. 📚🎓

We’re so excited to be partnering with and career to help you build your wardrobe while keeping campus fashion sustainable. 💙 Join us on March 4, 2026 from 10:00AM-5:00PM in the Urban Life Building ( Exhibit West) for a day full of connection, sustainability, and great vibes!🐾

We’re accepting new or gently used items now through March 2 including shirts, scarves, jeans, hats, and accessories. 👚Our donation bin is located in the Alumni Building at 60 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30303. Please be mindful when selecting and placing items in the bin. 📦
