The Donna Center for Women is a program designed to address the growing need among homeless women and women with children for both emergency access housing and the support/services necessary to enable the beginning of a new life. Program Goal: Provide each woman with 24/7 access to a safe environment, a solution for her immediate needs and a plan with resources to address her short term objectives

, all of which will empower her and provide her the greatest potential for long-term success. The target population will be homeless women, with priority given to homeless female veterans. The program will include comprehensive needs assessment, case management, counseling, mental and behavioral health services, community detox, job readiness and life skills training. The DCW program was developed from 20 years of experience in providing emergency housing solutions and research based models (Housing First). The program will reside in Atlanta, GA at 866 Warner Street which was recently purchased by Mary Hall Freedom House, Inc. and requires complete renovation for program use.
