Meet Chief Brian Marcos | LC17 - Fire Chief and Director of Emergency Management for the City of Smyrna, GA Government , nationally recognized public safety leader and proud 2024 Co-Chair of .

Known for his strategic approach to leadership, organizational culture and , Brian has built a reputation across Georgia for helping leaders “move from playing checkers to mastering chess.” In addition to leading one of Cobb County’s premier public safety departments, he serves in leadership roles across multiple statewide organizations and is passionate about developing the next generation of leaders through collaboration, resilience and excellence.

Leadership Cobb’s Arts Evening brought together incredible performers, panelists and community leaders to explore how the arts shape education, accessibility, economic development, tourism and quality of life across Cobb County and beyond. One theme rang clear all night long: when we invest in the arts, we invest in community.

The 2024-2025 class will be the largest class in program history, with 60 diverse and qualified participants! Leadership Cobb develops leadership skills and knowledge through its programs, comprised of lectures and dialogue sessions with guest speakers, as well as audience interaction with leaders in all facets of the community.
