Every 48in48 build weekend relies on four distinct roles working together:

1. Project Managers to keep the team on schedule and aligned with the nonprofit leader.
2. Web Builders to structure and assemble the live site.
3. UI/UX Designers to make navigation clear for donors and clients.
4. Content Strategists to shape clear messaging that tells the organization's story.

"I’d volunteer for 48in48, but I’m not a developer."

Neither are most of our volunteers.

Every build cycle, skilled professionals talk themselves out of signing up because of three common assumptions:

• "I'm not technical." Half of every website team is made up of project managers, content strategists, and designers.
• "I don't have the time." It is one focused weekend, not an open-ended commitment.
• "I don't know anyone." We place you directly onto a team.
