As you know, we have been working on an event with Atlanta Victim Assistance Inc. called the Blue-B-Que. We are monitoring Covid-19 and its variant for any event changes, and we will follow the guidance of the city of Atlanta regarding Covid-19 protocols. The Blue-B-Que is a cook-off competition featuring community grillers and grillers from the Atlanta Police Department (APD). There will be food sampling, live entertainment, a kid's area, artisan vendors, celebrity judges, and more. The event will be held at Georgia State University's Parc Stadium on October 17th, 2021 from 12 PM- 6 PM. The event is an initiative to encourage positive communication and garner stronger relationships with APD and the surrounding communities through the enjoyment of great food and fun. Funds raised from the event will assist Atlanta Victim Assistance Inc. in its much-needed effort to continue helping victims of crime.
