GACC South - German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern US, Inc. GACC South is a private, non-profit organization and serves as the official representative of German Territories – Puerto Rico and the U.S.

The GACC South is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with a branch office in Houston, Texas. The GACC South serves eleven Southern states – Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas, two U.S. Virgin Islands, as well as the Bahamas. In addition, five local chapters located in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Te

In 2016, this Memorandum of Understanding was signed by then-Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle and former GACC South President & CEO Stefanie Jehlitschka, helping lay the foundation for what would become the Georgia Consortium for Advanced Technical Training (GACATT).

⏩ A decade later, that commitment continues to deliver results. Through strong partnerships among industry, education, and government, GACATT has helped expand high-quality apprenticeship opportunities and strengthen the talent pipeline for advanced manufacturing across Georgia.
