Recently, Megan met at 21-year-old young man who was living in the woods behind his office. Every week, we're encountering young adults and families in similar situations. We are excited to be hosting a City of Atlanta Youth Fair
on June 18th!
We have an amazing group of agency partners joining us to make this event even better for our youth and young adults in need.
We will have games, raffles, entertainment, music and food trucks!
Plus some surprise guests for the kids!

One of our favorite local gems of Chamblee, The Treasure Mart, let us in on some exciting news for our young adults today!
Our Thrive by Hope participants moving into housing can come in to the store and will receive a $100 voucher to shop for anything they want to make their new home special ❤️
They have art, lamps, furniture, household goods and lots of fun stuff they can choose to make their new space more comfortable.

Big thank you to TP Corporate Lodging for donating 4 kits of kitchen essentials for our youth transitioning into apartments. They donated dishes, silverware, microwaves, coffee pots, ironing sets and kitchenware. We really appreciate this!
Our young adults will be so thankful.

Spring Break Week Wrap Up for the school aged kids in our Thrive by Hope program. ❤️❤️
All of our kids were checked in on and brought groceries and snacks for the week. Our high schoolers were able to go to the movies and our middle schoolers were taken to the Georgia Aquarium yesterday chaperoned by a few of our team members.
For the youth we serve, Spring Break is hard. There’s no vacations or trips to brag about. For some it means hunger, staying in a hotel room with no place to go and missing their friends.
Our goal was to change that. To provide an experience that would bring smiles to the faces of children in our communities.

Today we had the privilege of speaking to leadership and employees at CINC about our new Thrive by Hope program for at-risk youth in our communities.
CINC has been a supporter of Hope thru Soap since the beginning.
They presented us a $5,000 check today that will sponsor programs with education, career readiness, life skills, transportation, counseling and emergency shelter for our families and young adults.
Together we will impact the lives of these kids and give them hope for a better future.
Thank you CINC and your leadership team for supporting our vision to make this difference. ❤️
We look forward to having your team volunteer with us thru mentorship, tutoring, events and trainings.
