With wild turkey populations on the decline across much of their range, landowners working together in a cooperative format are paramount to turning the decline around. In this article, we sat down with Dr. Michael Chamberlain of the University of Georgia to explore where cooperatives fit into national wild turkey management. “Putting Heads & Acres Together.”

| Introducing the Co-op Fund! Starting this Friday, in partnership with our conservation partners, we will be raising money to fund co-op meetings across the nation in 2022. If the last year has taught us anything, it should be that we must rely on our local communities and neighbors now more than ever. It is no different in the conservation funding space. With every penny of this initiative going to help cover costs of local co-op meetings for regular folks, we believe this is something drastically needed in conservation fundraising. The more we raise, the more co-op meetings we can fund! Your goal of forming a co-op for yourself just got easier! Stay tuned on Friday for info on how you can help the cause and purchase a new shirt/hoodie in the process!

10.15.21 /
This Friday we are going to be officially launching a grassroots project to help wildlife co-ops across the U.S. host their co-op meetings! Over the next three days we will unveil our plan to impact local conservation funding in a way we have never done before. We will be putting 100% of our money where our mouth is: into co-ops in your backyard! Anyone in a co-op or interested in starting a co-op can apply.

| Co-op meetings are what drive the success of a wildlife cooperative. Getting all stakeholders around a table, discussing objectives, and forging a path forward that all agree upon. Even then, it can be a large time and cost commitment to provide a meal or meeting place. That’s why we will be launching a fund to help new and established co-ops with these associated costs! 100% of funds raised from this effort will go directly back to local co-op meetings! Soon, new or established co-ops will be able to apply for funds to help with their next co-op meeting! Be on the lookout for more info as we get closer to launch!
