It is with a sad heart that we are announcing the passing of Tommy Hayes. We didn’t know him and his wife very well but they were instrumental in the beginning of GT Relief. When we didn’t know exactly how we would receive enough food to pass out to our community and disaster relief efforts, they were there. Thank y’all for all that y’all have done over the years in partnering with numerous communities in east Texas to help us minister to our communities. Please keep his wife Diana and Hayes family in your prayers.

Hey GT friends and family,

We made it into San Saba,TX just before noon. We were able to unload in about 10-15 with all the volunteers that were there. We know some of y’all like pics so below are a few pics of us unloading and one of Kora keeping herself entertained with the walkie-talkies. We also have one of us loading the trailer since we forgot to post yesterday. Some of the ladies that helped us unload told us that the San Saba River rose to 35’ on the 4th of July and then ten days later flooded again to 28’ high.

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to let everyone know that we got everything loaded up and ready to leave out at 5am in morning. We wanted to thank everyone who donated, help organize and load. None of this would be possible without everyone’s help. Please keep us in your prayers while traveling but more important keep everyone who was affected by storms and flooding.

Hey GT Relief friends and famil

Just got confirmation last night on our drop off location for all donations for Texas hill country flood victims. We will be headed out with all the supplies this Saturday morning July 19 to Clearview Family Resources in San Saba, Tx. We will still be accepting donations until this Friday. All donations are welcome but the following are items that are greater need.

- hygiene products(soap, shampoo, toothpaste, feminine, toilet paper)
- diapers (all sizes, especially sizes 6 and 7)
- baby wipes

Thanks to everyone in this community that supports and helps this ministry. Please keep us in your prayers as we travel this Saturday but more importantly keep praying for all those effected by the floods.

Hey GT Relief friends and family,

We are wanting to keep everyone informed on Kerrville/Texas hill county food and supply run. We have made several contacts in the affected areas and everyone is telling us that they are still in search and rescue and cleanup phases. They don’t have any drop off points for food and supplies established yet. We are going to wait to head that way until we get confirmation on when and where they open up drop off points. If anyone has a good lead on if a drop off point has been established, please let us know. We will continue to collect donations until we get confirmation and we can head that way. Thanks to all who donate and support this ministry.

Hey GT Relief Family and Friends,

We will be collecting all none perishable goods, personal hygiene/toiletries, tarps, batteries, diapers/wipes and first aid supplies for flood victims in Kerrville and Texas hill country. Please drop off any donations and supplies at GT Church 607 Holly Street Atlanta, TX. If no one is there please place all donations under awning on side of church. We will be collecting donations all this week and then delivering them Saturday July 12

Hey everyone, it’s been a while since we’ve last posted but we have a single mother here in east Texas that is having to start all over. While she does have a place to live, she does not have any furniture. She is in need of 3 twin beds for her kids and a couch or some living room furniture. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Hey everybody, I was told that some young people were excited to come today and put the pews back together that arrived yesterday to Monterrey, Mexico. They were kind enough to send us some pictures of all their hard work. We pray that God continues to bless this church as they continue to spread God’s word.

Hey GT Relief friends and family! We wanted to give y’all an update on what God has done this weekend! Here are a couple of pictures that the other driver sent us as they just pulled up to the church in Monterey, Mexico. As you can see they made it there safe and the Pastor is extremely excited to have places for his congregation to sit during services! We would like to thank everyone for supporting this ministry of GT Church. None of this would ever be possible without everyone’s support and prayers!
