Hey. Can you help me find this sweet boy a loving home. A friend and coworker adopted him in Jan 2023 from the Douglas County Animal Shelter. He was 9 months old at the time. Unfortunately he just passed away at the end of August and she wife is needing to rehome him. His name is Otis. He is leash, crate and potty trained. I am beyond heartbroken over this bc not only did he lose his best friend, he’s now losing his home.

Looking to network for a rescue for this fella. Sig is 2 years old, neutered, up to date on shots.

I took him in when a co-worker said she could not longer keep him due to her "pet rent going up". Previously we had pet sat him for her and he has been totally fine with all my other dogs.

But yesterday, while we were gone, he attacked one of my other dogs and injured him pretty badly. I have taken him to a family members house but he has a limited time he can stay there. No where (that I have called) will let me board him because if this recent incident.

We have reached out to tons of local rescues who all say they are full.

His original owner is not willing to take him back. It only leave me to assume this is the reason she had to get rid of him in the first place. But that is just my speculation.

We are feeling the love here at CCAS and we are hoping to help our animals feel it too! Each and every one of our adorable fur babies here at the shelter deserve to feel love and affection from their furever families! So, from today until Valentine's Day, our adoption prices will be lowed to just $14! All of the animals will still be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vetted to their ages.

If you are looking for the purrrfect Valentine, we definitely suggest visiting us between now and February 14th!

Our friend is needing to rehome this pretty fella! His name is Onyx. He comes to visit us on occasion and has done well my 6. He is crate trained and does well riding in the car. 🥰 Please share!

Local shelters are being forced to euthanized innocent animals for space..... to make room for other animals who will ultimately meet the same fate after a few days. And yet you worthless A$$holes continue to take your dog or cat to a kill shelter.... because you can't deal with them, or you didnt train them, or because you are moving, or because you had a baby, or for any other BS reason you dream up, you are a POS and a special seat in hell awaits you! A pet is a minimum 10 year commitment and yall keep getting them and or breeding them. Why???? How do you sleep at night? What lie did you tell your kids when they ask where the dog is? What lie do you tell yourself that makes you feel better about what you did?
