We’re preparing our new space to once again welcome families and continue the mission that has always been at the heart of what we do—serving our community with food, dignity, compassion, and hope.

A new chapter is beginning for Compassion Ministries Food Pantry, and we’re excited to welcome our community back through our doors!

This reopening represents more than a new location. It means more food, more resources, more partnerships, and more opportunities to serve families throughout our community with dignity and compassion.

Food insecurity doesn’t always look like hunger. It can look like a parent skipping a meal so their children can eat. A senior stretching groceries until the next check arrives. Or a working family choosing between groceries, rent, utilities, transportation, and medicine.

The Atlanta Community Food Bank reports that approximately 1 in 7 neighbors and 1 in 5 children in its service area face food insecurity, with 901,100 people projected to experience food insecurity.

At Compassion Ministries Food Pantry, we see the need firsthand. We serve approximately 900 families and 2,700 individuals every month, distributing approximately 75,000–100,000 pounds of food monthly.

But we cannot do it alone.

The countdown is officially on! In just 14 days, Compassion Ministries Food Pantry will celebrate our Re-Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony as we begin an exciting new chapter of serving families throughout our community.

We are honored to welcome three incredible community leaders as our Special Guest Speakers:

🎤 Mayor Edward J. Johnson, Jr. — Mayor of Fayetteville, GA
🎤 Joe Clark — Fayetteville City Councilman
🎤 Timoria McQueen Saba — State Representative, District 68
