Good day everyone!
I am glad to report we are going to the US open!!
My name is Eric Jackson (Coach EJ) from MYLTF (Made You Love Tennis Foundation). I have partnered up with Jonathan Hart (Coach Hart) from the AYSI (Athletes Youth Sports Institute). We would like to extend an invitation for your generous contribution to the 2023 Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day (AAKD). This year’s trip is inspired by and in memory of Coach Wink (William Fulton) who unfortunately passed away in November 2022. One of his last wishes was that his legacy of going to AAKD to broaden and enrich the lives of children from Atlanta live on. Jonathan Hart has co-managed the last 6 trips to New York and I will continue to memorialize Coach Wink’s Legacy by taking a leadership role in this tradition for the next generations to come.
The event is held at the US Open Tennis Grand Slam in Flushing Meadows, Queens, New York. Participants at the AAKD have an opportunity to watch numerous professional tennis matches, attend a concert, meet professional tennis players and participate in interactive games and family activities. Our journey to the US Open AAKD starts on August 25th and concludes August 28th.
We are Relentless, we will not stop till the job is done! Our goal is to raise a minimum of $27,000 to defray the cost for 36 kids who are less fortunate to attend the event. After chaperone fees and all kid fees are paid we still need 15K. I do believe this number should be attained within the next week or two at most! There are a lot of people who want to keep our kids going to the US open. I will not let these kids down.
