Word from our founder. I’m tired of talking about the problem. I’m ready to create OUR future made for US and by US. Where my money pays for an education that puts my kids first. A healthcare system that puts our body first. A military that represents and defends US. A financial system that makes provides US with the tools to have generational wealth. Where our entertainment doesn’t degrade us but uplifts us, that looks forward. We can do this.

The truth is that trauma is not just “in your head”. It leaves a real, physical imprint on your body, jarring your memory storage processes and changing your brain. Untreated past trauma can have a big impact on your future health. The emotional and physical reactions it triggers can make you more prone to serious health conditions including heart attack, stroke, obesity, diabetes, and cancer, according to Harvard Medical School research. Additionally, the risk of developing mental and physical health problems increases with the number of traumatic events you’ve experienced. “For example, your risk for problems is much higher if you’ve had three or more negative experiences, called adverse childhood experiences (ACEs),” says Harvard research scientist Andrea Roberts.

Will you fold when times get tough? Or will you find the will power to overcome and be the best version of yourself. These are things many of us battle with daily. But a failure or loss does not mean it’s over. It’s just another opportunity to learn and grow from.

We must not forget who we are doing this for. The kids are the future and must know the importance of their life and those that look like them. They must see love, respect, discipline from their elders in order to reciprocate on to their peers.
