Giving them an outlet that will not only educate but also provide comfort and compassion. Luv U More was founded in memory of my niece Taniya Keshon Fisher. Taniya was born with a congenital liver disease called Biliary Atresia, which is a relatively rare condition and the exact cause is unknown. There is no cure for biliary atresia, only treatment through a surgical procedure called Kasai. Taniya
underwent this surgery at 2 weeks old and for the most part it was successful, however even with a successful surgery most patients will still need a liver transplant. Taniya defied the odds and most of the statistic about survival, but unfortunately in November of 2021 God called his angel home. During the 1990’s when Taniya was born there was limited if any support and education available to the parents of children born with this disease. Most of the foundations dealt with liver disease as a whole, which did not fill the need these parents required. We have joined the ranks of the few dedicated to making sure that parents and the young adults that survive are educated and supported. We will contribute in every way possible to make sure congenital liver disease is understood, treated effectually and research continues.
