🫀For years, I lived beneath the weight of depression, fear, anxiety, and self-loathing—living in survival mode while searching for a love that could heal my bleeding heart. I was a church kid, and yet because of childhood trauma, a battle with depression and su***de, sexual assault, and losing my dad, I questioned God’s goodness and the reliability of His character.

And yet—God met me. He pursued relationship with me and immersed me in the gentleness of His love. I entrusted my congested and shattered heart into the Father’s hands. This book is my testimony—my story of how allowing God to Father me and embracing my identity as His Daughter became foundational to walking in wholeness with Christ. It is my story with Jesus and an invitation into the Father’s heart for you.

What’s up Beloveds! Allow me to reintroduce myself — I’m Cheese to some, and Bri to many others but you can call me Bria!! I’m a preschool teacher by day and an anime obsessed girly by night. When I’m not wrangling 2 year olds, I’m writing stories and poetry to show others the beauty of Jesus through my personal intimacy with Him. I believe in creating safe spaces where people can express themselves and experience God’s love. I enjoy reading, watching anime, building LEGO sets, and spending time with family and close friends!

When I first moved into my home—two years ago—I told the Lord that I wanted my home to be His house: a safe haven for women to come, cry, scream, and shout as they freely express their feelings with the Lord and with one another. I prayed that this house would be a place where women could gather to pray, worship, and fellowship together. I wanted women to experience the love of Christ and the power of His Spirit. I am still in awe—and show—at how the Lord has used my voice to pray and speak life into women who needed a word.

Thank you Jeremiah for colaboring with me in prayer and partnering with me to make this vision come to life. This space I want to curate is so dear to my heart and I’m looking forward how the Lord will continue to use me as His hands and feet to empower His daughters! 🫂🫶🏾

The love that God has lavished upon you gives you the right to be called His child. What a privilege it is to be called His son and His daughter. That is who you are - that is your identity. As His child you can boldly and authentically come to Him with every problem, every desire and every emotion trusting that He will listen and respond accordingly. As His child you can trust that He wants relationship with you not out of obligation but because He truly delights in being with you. You have a special place in the Fathers Heart that is reserved just for you.

Since my dad’s death it has been a constant wrestling between God and I. He offer me an invitation, “Let Me be your Abba,” and I responded with hesitation. I didn’t need another father, I wanted — needed — my daddy back. God is teaching me what it means to see Him as Father and myself as His Beloved Daughter!

You are the apple of God’s eye. A Daughter He smiles at and says, “ I don’t regret making you Mine.” You belong to Him. You are His prize, His treasure, and the one He delights in. You are worth more to Him than the finest gems. Believe in God– trust what He says about you. You are His daughter and He doesn’t regret loving you, choosing you, or being with you.
