As we gather to celebrate the holidays, we are reminded of the power of love, resilience, and community. For many, this season brings joy and warmth, but for others, it can be a time of hardship and reflection.

At The Aramis Peterson Foundation,we stand with those impacted by domestic and gun violence offering hope, support, and a pathway to safety. This season, we honor the courage of survivors, the strength of advocates, and the kindness of those who give their time and resources to help others rebuild their lives.

Let us remember that the greatest gift we can give is the gift of compassion and understanding. Together, we can create a world where every individual feels safe, valued, and loved—not just during the holidays, but every day.

From our hearts to yours, we wish you peace, healing, and a brighter tomorrow. Thank you for your continued support in making a difference.

With love and gratitude,
The Aramis Peterson Foundation 💜

Happy Kwanzaa ❤️🙏🏽🌹‼️

Enjoy a joyous Kwanzaa celebration. In 1966, Dr. Maulana Karenga conceived and created the only indigenous Black holiday in the United States, "Kwanzaa." The term Kwanzaa is derived from the Swahili word "Kwanza," which means "first" and is part of the phrase "Matunda Ya Kwanza" (first fruits). Dr. Karenga added the extra "a" to distinguish Black Americans from Africans. The goal was to establish a holiday that reflects the best aspirations of Black Americans. While Kwanzaa's roots are African, its branches and fruits are distinctly Black American.
