During the three-week U4Ukids program in the United States, we asked the teenagers to share memories of their fathers. These memories are part of their lives and will always stay with them.

Because of host families, volunteers, and everyone who supports the program, more teenagers have the opportunity to come to the United States and spend three weeks in a safe and caring environment.

If you would like to become part of this story, learn more about the program, or support it, you can find all the information at u4ukids.com.

Every year through the U4Ukids program, we bring teenagers from Ukraine, ages 13–16, whose fathers were killed in the war, are missing, or are being held in captivity.

For three weeks, they live with host families, experience a new culture, visit local attractions, take part in a summer camp program, and spend time in a safe, peaceful, and caring environment. For many of them, it is a chance to feel supported and simply be children again.

We are now preparing for our next group and are looking for host families in Portland, OR, and Vancouver, WA.

We are also raising funds to make this program possible. The total cost for one teenager to participate is approximately $3,200, which covers documents, visas, insurance, flights, transportation, and the program in the United States.

There are several ways you can help. You can become a host family, support a teenager through a donation, or share the program with your friends and community.
To become a host family or make a donation, please visit u4ukids.com. You can also contact us at 📲 (404) 324-7180 | (470) 337-0610.

Every host family and every donation helps make this journey possible for another teenager 🤍

Two groups of teenagers have recently returned home to Ukraine after spending three weeks in the United States through the U4Ukids program. They are 13–16 years old, and their fathers were killed in the war, are missing, or are being held in captivity.

During the program, they lived with host families, experienced a new culture, visited local attractions, spent time at camp, made new friends, and, most importantly, had the chance to simply be children again.

After they returned home, we received dozens of messages from their mothers. Many expressed their gratitude to the host families, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this journey possible.

This carousel includes just a few of the messages they shared with us.

In a few months, a new group of teenagers will arrive in the United States. We are currently looking for host families in Portland, Oregon; Vancouver, Washington; and Venice, North Port, and Sarasota, Florida. At the same time, we are continuing to raise donations to make this program possible for the next group of children.

🤍 If you would like to become a host family, support the program with a donation, or simply share it with your friends and community, we would be sincerely grateful.

The group of teenagers from Rivne 🇺🇦 has now returned home after spending three weeks in Seattle 🇺🇸

Before they left, we recorded a few short interviews where the teenagers shared their memories, talked about their experience, and expressed their gratitude to their host families.

Today, we’d like to share these heartfelt moments with you🤍

If these stories resonate with you, we’d love to welcome you as part of the U4Ukids community—whether as a host family, a volunteer, or a supporter of the program.

Every act of support helps make it possible for another child to experience three weeks of care, encouragement, and memories that will stay with them long after they return home.

10 teenagers from Chernivtsi have arrived in Sacramento, California, where they will spend the next three weeks participating in the U4Ukids program 🕊️

These are teenagers whose fathers were killed in the war, are being held in captivity, or are missing.

Over the next three weeks, they will be staying with host families, building new friendships, taking part in local outings, attending summer camp, and having the opportunity to experience a sense of safety, away from the daily realities of war.

For our team, this is another important step in a much larger mission. Every new group is made possible through the support of host families, volunteers, partners, and everyone who gives their time, resources, and donations to the program.

We are grateful that more and more children have the opportunity to become part of U4Ukids.

And this is only the beginning.

Very soon, another—and much larger—group of teenagers from Ukraine will arrive in Sacramento. We look forward to introducing you to them as well.

Thank you to everyone who helps make this work possible. Together, we continue creating a place where children can experience care, support, and hope 🤍

We are continuing to look for host families in Florida for the next group of teenagers from Ukraine.

Right now, we especially need families in:
📍 Venice
📍 North Port
📍 Sarasota

These are teenagers whose fathers were killed in the war, are being held in captivity, or are missing.

For three weeks, they will live with host families, take part in local outings, attend summer camp, and have the opportunity to spend time away from war in a safe and supportive environment.

If you live in one of these communities and would like to become a host family, please complete the application at u4ukids.com or call the phone number shown in the video.

If becoming a host family is not the right fit for you at this time, you can still become part of the program. We are continuing to raise donations for this group to help cover flights, travel documents, insurance, transportation, and other program-related expenses.

And if you have friends or family in Florida, we would be grateful if you shared this video with them. Very often, it is one shared post that helps us find a family ready to open their home to a child.

Together, we can give even more children the opportunity to experience a few peaceful weeks filled with care, support, and hope 🤍

We are looking for host families in Florida 🇺🇸

We are currently preparing the next group of teenagers from Ukraine and are looking for host families in:

📍 Venice, FL
📍 North Port, FL
📍 Sarasota, FL

The teenagers will come to the United States through the U4Ukids program for three weeks.

These are teenagers whose fathers were killed in the war, are missing, or are being held in captivity.

During the program, they live with host families, experience American culture, take part in local outings, attend summer camp, and have the opportunity to spend time in a safe and peaceful environment, even if only for a little while.

Becoming a host family does not mean changing your entire life. It is an opportunity to open your home for three weeks to a teenager who needs support, care, and the reassurance that they are not alone.

We are also continuing to raise donations for this group. Not every host family is able to cover the full cost of a child’s participation, so part of the expenses is covered through the generosity of people who support the program. These donations help cover flights, travel documents, insurance, transportation, and other program-related expenses.

If you live in Venice, North Port, or Sarasota and would like to learn more about the program, please contact us or complete the host family application on our website.

If you know a family in one of these communities who may be interested, we would be grateful if you shared this post with them. And if becoming a host family is not the right fit for you, you can still support a child’s participation with a donation.

Your support could make it possible for one more teenager to come to the United States through the U4Ukids program 💙💛

The first group of teenagers from Ukraine arrived in Seattle through the U4Ukids program.

This group includes 20 children of fallen Ukrainian heroes from Rivne. Over the next three weeks, they will be staying with host families, building new friendships, taking part in local outings, attending summer camp, and having the opportunity to experience a season of peace, safety, and care.

Behind this day are months of preparation, hundreds of hours of work, and dozens of people who gave their time, energy, and heart to make this trip possible.

We are sincerely grateful to our team, host families, volunteers, partners, and everyone who supported this journey. Because of your support, the first group of children has safely arrived, and for us, this is just the beginning.

In the weeks ahead, there will be new friendships, new stories, and three weeks that we hope will become a time of recovery, new experiences, and lasting memories for these teenagers.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us.

If the mission of U4Ukids resonates with you, we invite you to become part of our community. Together, we can make this opportunity possible for even more children and their families 🤍

Right now, a camp for children of fallen Ukrainian heroes is taking place in the Carpathian Mountains of Ukraine.

Many of these children previously participated in the U4Ukids program and traveled to the United States last year.

For us, it is very important that support for the children does not end when they return home. That is why we continue working with the children and their families in Ukraine, helping maintain connections, support relationships, and create new opportunities for community, rest, and recovery.

A camp session for children from the Kryvyi Rih region recently came to an end, and children from the Cherkasy region are currently attending camp.

This camp became possible through the partnership of U4Ukids, AGAPE Mission, Gift of Grace, and the UP Camp team. Each partner contributed in their own way to help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for the children.

We are sincerely grateful to everyone who helps us continue this work.

Our work does not end with one trip or one project. We continue to stay connected with the children and their families because support is a process that takes time, attention, and the efforts of many people working together.

If the mission of U4Ukids resonates with you, we invite you to become part of this story. Together, we can support more children and families who need care, encouragement, and trusted adults around them today 🤍
