We invite you (and your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc.) to support our music community by attending this live music event. Here you will be entertained by amateurs and professionals as we take you on a journey of our songs.

Light food and non-alcoholic beverages.
$10.00 cover. Tips and donations appreciated.

We encourage your kids to come and experience music and songwriting.

Message me if you want to take the stage at a future Fourth Friday.

We all know the term ‘struggling musicians’. Unless you’re a platinum record seller, there isn’t an easy way for a performer to make a living. Adding a pandemic on top of that ended many careers. For almost three years concerts were cancelled, lessons were cancelled and their monthly gigs…all cancelled.

Musical Charities’ mission is to create events for singer/songwriters to share their songs, and the stories behind them, to an enthusiastic audience.

WHAT CAN YOU DO!!

I found my passion when I started volunteering at DeKalb Humane Society around 2000. After a year of volunteering I became the Director. I started Mostly Mutts in 2004 and ran it for nearly 10 years. It is now run by Tammy Turley, who after 10 years is still going strong! She has a great team of hard workers who dedicate many hours helping homeless animals.

Almost everyone I know wants to help, but they can’t adopt, they can’t foster and they can’t pull hours. I never fault them, I just ask what CAN you do? I ask you…WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR ANIMAL RESCUE?

Here are a few ideas!! Buy tickets to The BIG SHEbang! Buy one for you and one for a friend. Gather a group to come enjoy these AMAZING singer/songwriters! Send a donation, sponsor the event, donate a raffle item, or just spread the word. EVERYONE can do SOMETHING!!

THE BIG SHEbang will benefit Mostly Mutts, Two Tailz and The Humane Society of Cobb County.

Once a rescuer, always a rescuer. Check out Ariel and Koda below. They are in search of new homes. Look deep into their eyes and hear them talking to you!!! 😊😊

What a wonderful article in Bluegrass Today about our event this coming Sunday with Claire Lynch and Jim Hurst. Tickets still available through Eventbrite.com (search Claire Lynch. Your ticket shows your love to the musicians and supports rescue farm animals and wild nest bird rehab. Your ticket also allows you to take part in our jam session anytime after 11:30 until 2:45.
