Yesterday, in the city of Tamatave, 30 homes were burned down--leaving at least 30 families completely destitute (no shoes, etc). The devastation is tremendous and has been followed by a day of rain that is expected to last through the weekend. HELP is a nonprofit in this area that is helping to meet the need. PLEASE consider donating today to help facilitate their assistance.

Donations are tax deductible and can go a long way to both helping in this tragedy as well as with the overall meeting of needs to those who live in poverty in Madagascar.

Antsiranampasika is the name of the market and suburb right by HELP. It's a place with extreme poverty existing next to gated homes with pools. Many of our students live here and/or have parents who sell in the market.

Each month we'd like to do something that activates us and challenges you to show LOVE...help love abound in this year. Our Jan/Feb Love Challenge is to find an older or sick person and give them a hand massage. Yep. It's as simple as that. The power of the human touch is amazing!

On Sat 2 January, we took a group of volunteers to a local church and did manicures and hand massages, gave donations from some friends of LHM and a little encouragement for the heart and soul for approximately 40 women in a small church in Madagascar. Check out a few pics and then post your own between now and Valentine's day of you blessing another.
