💔 110 Shots and a Cover-Up 💔
Join the family of Jamarion Robinson at the Atlanta City Council Meeting on August 18, 2025 at 1PM (55 Trinity Ave SW, Atlanta, GA 30303) to demand justice for his life.

On August 5, 2016, Jamarion was shot 110 times, hit with 76 bullet wounds, flash-bang grenades thrown at his body, and denied medical aid for hours. What happened was beyond excessive force and we must hold those responsible accountable.

Tomorrow will be joined by , Culture Shift, , GCV, RISE, and many more organizations and community members. Come out for free food, entertainment, and resources for Civil/Social Rights! This is a family friendly event and we will have speakers.

In addition to voter engagement work, this year’s campaign will focus on several other issues and initiatives being led by BVM including: Sick & Tired, which focuses on Medicaid expansion, mental health, gun violence and Black maternal health; Take the Field, which seeks to inspire, train and engage students around urgent community issues; The Block is Hot, a program designed to mobilize rural communities for environmental justice, and Warrant Clinics, BVM’s program designed to help people eliminate their warrants due to misdemeanor offenses and traffic violations.

Why is Sheriff Patrick Labat blocking investigators from speaking with inmates who wish to report any abuse or harm done to them? Everything comes to the light and now we all know that the Atlanta Citizens Review Board has been denied access to the Fulton County Jail ‼️

Join , No Justice! No Peace!] , and tomorrow Saturday at 6:00 PM for a discussion on the fight for justice for Jarvis Lykes and call to action. Please tune into No Justice! No Peace!] to join the discussion ✊🏾

On December 29, 2017, Jarvis Lykes noticed that there was a stop up ahead and didn’t want to be late for work. He made a U-turn and was followed by Georgia State Trooper Michael Nolan. Michael Nolan stopped Lykes and told him to get out of his vehicle. Jarvis Lykes was struck by the officer and there was a brief interaction until Lykes turned around to walk back to his car. Jarvis Lykes was shot by officer Michael Nolan when he was reaching for his cellphone after the officer attacked him. Of course the officer had their body-cam and dash-cam off. Michael Nolan handcuffed Lykes in front of his body and started CPR after moving their car. The bullet ricocheted in Jarvis Lykes chest killing him. EMT had to tell him to take the handcuffs off Jarvis who later died in the hospital.
