Come learn with us! Applicatios are open for the 2025-2026 Doula Training Cohort. The Training is a 9 month intensive, complete with professional development and mentorship to help ensure you are prepared to have a sustainable doula career.

Training is 20% in-peraon and 80% virtual. Loding accommodations are available for those traveling outside of in-person training sites.

We are committed to eradicating preventable maternal death in Georgia ✊🏽 Join us in the mission.

Mama Talk is a informational support group for pregnant and postpartum Black families, hosted, either virtually or in-person, by the Georgia Black Doula Network, Inc. Each Mama Talk features a relative topic of discussion, led by a community expert. This community forum has been cultivated to be a safe space for Black families to share their birth stories, birthing fears and fertility concerns. The Mama Talk program also grants opportunities for participants to share common experiences, support one another and empower themselves with new information.

The evening's festivities will commence with a live band performance and a delicious dinner, setting the tone for a captivating film screening. Immediately following the movie, a thought-provoking panel discussion will take place, featuring several cast members who will share their insights and experiences. This unforgettable night promises to be a powerful tribute to the legacy of Black doula care, and we invite you to be a part of it.

“Cradled In Culture: Reclaiming the Legacy of Black Doula Care” is a powerful documentary produced by the Atlanta Doula Collective, that delves into the rich history and resurgence of Black Doula care in Atlanta, GA.
Through personal stories, this documentary explores how ADC doulas guide the families they serve through hospital systems shaped by implicit bias. The film highlights the deep cultural roots of Black birthwork, tracing its lineage to the traditions of African American midwives who have been central to community health and childbirth for generations. It also celebrates the efforts of modern Black Doulas who are reclaiming this legacy, advocating for holistic, culturally-affirming care, and helping to address the maternal mortality crisis disproportionately affecting Black women today.
Cradled In Culture, serves as both an educational tool, identifying the vital role of doulas, and a call to action to support them in their mission to restore agency and empowerment in childbirth.
