We are seeking dedicated student volunteers to support community health outreach at the upcoming:

🩺 Her Health Her Story Women’s Health Conference
📅 Saturday, March 28, 2026
⏰ 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 South Piedmont Community College | Monroe, NC

**Featuring Dr. Byron “B.K.” Edmond, MD as a guest speaker.**

This is a hands-on volunteer opportunity where you will:
✔️ Distribute educational health materials
✔️ Support community outreach & engagement
✔️ Assist with breast health education demonstrations
✔️ Help facilitate health surveys

I created this little set of reminders, or mantras, to help when you’re feeling anxious. Anxiety puts you in the future, these statements bring you back to this moment and how you feel right now.

The trick is repetition. Saying it to yourself over and over - the focused attention is what can provide relief when you’re having an anxious moment.

Some of us have talked about our anxiety being high in the morning - with a new day before us, new tasks at work, new obstacles- it’s easy to get ahead of yourself and it’s human too. Don’t beat yourself up; just bring it back. 🌱
