🐷 We noticed our favorite muddy spa around the yard hydrant had gotten a little… too enthusiastic lately. I’m not naming names, but apparently some pig has been doing a bit of rooting around. 👀

So the hoomans brought in gravel, leveled everything out, and made sure the water drains away properly. The result? A much tidier area, less winter mud, and hopefully fewer muddy hoofprints making their way everywhere.

I can’t promise I won’t inspect their handiwork regularly, but I have to admit—they did a pretty good job. Now we’re all a little more prepared for the wet months ahead. ❤️

Why have a broom when you can have a goat scratcher? 😂🐐

Our hoomans are always coming up with new enrichment ideas for our room, and today they discovered that a broom makes an excellent head-scratcher.

Jeremy had a go first… then apparently it was our turn. And when Nisha picked up the broom, we showed her EXACTLY how much we appreciated this new service. 😂

Let’s just say… we take our scratching very seriously around here. 🤣

We love getting new things to investigate, play with and enjoy. Keep the enrichment ideas coming, hoomans! ❤️

I’m Daisy, and I’m not a product, a number, or a someone who exists for anyone else’s purpose.

I’m an individual with my own likes, dislikes, quirks and opinions — and I’m pretty sure the hoomans here have learned that I have LOTS of opinions. 😂

Every one of our fellow animals is unique. We all have our own personalities, our own preferences and our own capacity to experience joy, fear, comfort and connection.

We all deserve the freedom to simply be ourselves and to live our lives with respect, kindness and compassion.

When we moved here three years ago, we had no idea there was a whole community of pond individuals. 🐟💚

We didn’t even realise anyone was living in the pond!

But over time, these beautiful fish friends have learned that when we come to the water, we bring kindness, not harm. They now come over to say hello (and, admittedly, to see what snacks we’ve brought 😂).

They’re part of the Respect family too. 💚

Respect isn’t just about the fellow animals who live in our barn. It’s about learning to notice, appreciate and care about the lives already living all around us.

And these little pond residents have definitely made themselves known. 🐟🥰

Okay, okay… we know we’ve shared a few running videos lately. 😂

But honestly… can you blame us?!

Today it’s MY turn to lead the joy parade, with Donny right behind me because apparently he agrees that running around the field for absolutely no reason is the BEST thing ever. 🐑💨

There’s just something about seeing us happy, free to run, explore, play and just… be ourselves that makes our Hooman parents start videoing 📹.

So yes, you’ll probably be seeing more of these videos. ❤️

Around here, trying new foods is half the fun! We’re always looking for safe, fresh things to add a little variety to our days… and apparently we all have VERY different opinions. 😆

Some enthusiastic taste testers, some suspicious faces, and a whole lot of crunching later… the fig leaf verdict is officially IN! 🌿🐷🐐🐑

My humans think I’m just being cute, but this is highly strategic engineering. It’s called “caching!” My free-living cousins taught me that you never leave good food out in the open. You gotta map out the perfect secret hiding spot, pack it away, and remember exactly where it is for second dinner.
Sure, my bowl gets filled every day, but a girl’s gotta have a backup plan. You can never be too prepared for the future! 🧠✨
