✨ Our tutoring program is back! ✨

We’ve officially launched the 6th edition of our tutoring program, starting April 6th during Spring break and we’re proud to support 163 students this session.

At Yume Africa, we believe learning happens best in the right environment. That’s why our students work in small groups, allowing for better understanding, more interaction, and personalized support.

From Mathematics to English, Sciences, and more, our dedicated teachers/tutors are walking alongside students as they prepare for their exams.

📚 This is more than extra classes—
it’s support, guidance, and a space to grow with confidence.

To all our students:
✨ we are proud of your commitment
✨ we are cheering you on

We wish you the very best in your exams! 💛

✨ We’re Yume Africa ✨

Let’s us reintroduce ourselves!
Education is a right, but for millions of children in Cameroon, it’s still out of reach.

Since 2020, we’ve been working to change that through programs that help students learn, grow, and believe in themselves:

🎓 Student Sponsorship – Supporting underprivileged students, especially those affected by the Anglophone crisis
📚 Book Clubs – Building confidence and a love for reading
✏️ Tutoring & Mentorship – Connecting students with mentors and academic support
🍽️ Food Assistance – Ensuring no child learns on an empty stomach

Our mission is simple: empower the next generation through education.

Follow our journey and see how we’re creating spaces where students can thrive.

Thank you 🙏🏾 to .education , , , and so many others for their support 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Testimony like this reinforces why we continue to support young people like Zenabu

Meet Zenabou 💛
A 13-year-old girl displaced by the Anglophone crisis in West Cameroon.

Before Yume Africa, her parents couldn’t afford school fees. She was often sent home from class — not because she didn’t want to learn, but because the opportunity wasn’t there.

We’ve supported Zenabou for 4 years. She joined us in Class 2.
Today, she’s in Class 6, preparing for her primary school exam — and she’s often among the top students in her class.

School gave Zenabou more than lessons.
It gave her confidence, skills, and a dream.

She now wants to become a doctor, so she can help others.

This is the power of consistent support.
This is impact. ✨

When crisis displaces families, food is often the first thing children lose.

In rural West Cameroon, hunger shows up in classrooms as fatigue, poor focus, and missed days.

Through Yume Africa’s food assistance program, children receive 2 meals a day during the school week — not as charity, but as a foundation for learning.

Because a child who is hungry cannot fully learn.
Sometimes impact is simple: making sure a child can sit in class without hunger competing for attention. 💛

For children displaced by the Anglophone crisis in Cameroon — now entering its 10th year — hunger is one of the biggest barriers to education.

At Yume Africa, we’ve learned that supporting a child means going beyond school fees, shoes, and books. Because learning requires focus, energy, and stability.

That’s why in February last year, we launched a food assistance program to ensure children could receive two meals a day, allowing them to attend school and actually learn.

Since then:
• Over 3,500 meals served
• 25 children supported
• Improved concentration and school attendance
• Positive ripple effects on families and home stability

We are continuing this program this school year because we’ve seen the difference it makes — not just in the classroom, but in children’s confidence, well-being, and future.

Education doesn’t start with textbooks.
It begins with ensuring a child can learn.
