At my church, The Enon Church, I shared something deeply personal and lifesaving.

Heart disease is still the #1 killer — and cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere. In fact, 70% of cardiac arrests happen at home, and 9 out of 10 people don’t survive outside the hospital. That’s why awareness and action matter.

As a SCAD heart attack and cardiac arrest survivor, I know what it means to be given another chance. My heart stopped… but my purpose started.

Hands-Only CPR can save a life. No mouth-to-mouth required. Just call 911 and push hard and fast in the center of the chest until help arrives. Your hands could be the difference between life and loss.

We also reminded our church family that heart health is in the daily choices:
✔️ Move your body
✔️ Know your numbers (BP, cholesterol, blood sugar)
✔️ Manage stress
✔️ Prioritize rest

Faith guides us, but wisdom helps us steward the bodies God gave us.

Let’s not just pray for miracles — let’s be prepared to help save one.
