Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Creative Conference panel!

Much love and appreciation to the Atlanta Film Festival for sharing their platform and to the team for their support! Our LIMA FILMMAKER MIXER is back! Bringing together Atlanta’s Film, TV, and Media community to connect with and support Latine voices.

April 30th
3:30–6:30 PM


Open to all⚡️Music by .superiorrr ⚡️Influenced by her Peruvian roots and upbringing in the South, La Superiorrr blends culture, memory, and movement into every set. She is a DJ and co-founder of , a Latinx q***r dance party that has helped shape Atlanta’s nightlife since 2016. Her sound moves across perreo, cumbia, hip-hop, and diasporic rhythms, with a signature touch of salsa classics and nostalgia that hits at just the right moment. Beyond the booth, she uses her platform to uplift Latinx voices and create spaces rooted in connection, joy, and liberation.

Join us on April 30th at 11:30 AM at Tara Atlanta for the ATLFF Creative Conference for Latinas in Media Atlanta: The Production Process, Paso a Paso, where we’ll break down a mock project and walk through key stages of production, including the gaps you might have missed.

Our guest panelists include an entertainment attorney, award-winning filmmaker, film distributor, and a DGA 1st AD.

And after the panel, we keep it going.

Meet your moderators for Latinas In Media Atlanta: The Production Process, “Paso A Paso” (Step by Step) at Creative Conference on April 30th at 11:30 AM!

Leading the conversation is Co-founder of Latinas In Media Atlanta (LIMA), Viviana “Vivi” Chavez. Viv is an acclaimed actress and Bronze Telly-winning producer dedicated to amplifying Latine voices and building a self-sustaining film community in her hometown. With over 16 years of experience and 180+ credits—including The Walking Dead and Baby Driver—she remains a steadfast advocate for diversity and inclusion in decision-making roles. Vivi is also a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.

Joining her is esteemed actress Denise Santos, and the Founder and Producer of Latinas in Media Atlanta (LIMA), a community committed to uplifting Latine and underrepresented voices in film, television, and media. With over 100 credits across television, film, and Emmy-winning commercials, including national campaigns with Shaq and Shakira, Denise brings both experience and advocacy to her work. A National Member of the Television Academy and one of Georgia’s 50 Most Influential Latinos, she has trained at The Juilliard School and with some of the Southeast’s most respected acting coaches. Denise is proud to collaborate with the Atlanta Film Festival to amplify the thriving Latine community and independent storytellers within Georgia’s growing film and television industry.

Wrapping up our guest panelists for Latinas In Media Atlanta: The Production Process, “Paso A Paso” (Step by Step) at Creative Conference on April 30th at 11:30 AM!

The short film entitled, ROSALIND, marked Veronica A. Hodge-Hampton’s directorial debut for her and her wife’s company, Glory Filmworks, Inc. For over twenty years she has served as a 1st A.D. on movies like Zombieland, DRUMLINE, X-MEN: First Class and hit television shows like ATLANTA, MacGyver, Greenleaf seasons 2 & 3, The Walking Dead, The Bernie Mac Show, Fight Night, and most recently a reboot of A Different World for Netflix.

Then, after the panel let’s come together to keep the conversation going, connect, and have some fun at El Ponce at 3:30 PM for our LIMA Filmmaker Mixer! El Ponce

Marco Medina is the CEO of Lumexx Media, a distribution company headquartered in Decatur, Georgia, with an additional team in Morelia, Mexico. As a strategic leader, Marco is focused on scaling the company’s reach and building systems that allow Lumexx to operate at a higher level across both domestic and international markets.
