Parental alienation is not a manifestation of "junk science"; instead, it represents an outdated adherence to historical data suggesting that one parent would not purposefully engage in alienation tactics against the other. Regrettably, this belief has evolved into a realm of professional misconduct within the legal sphere, wherein officers of the court contribute to the instigation of legal conflicts among parents, thereby obstructing any genuine consideration of the "best interest of the child" principle. The expanding body of data and research consistently underscores that parental alienation often commences with the deployment of the Silver Bullet Tactic.
