As the season of generosity arrives, we’re reminded how vital it is to come together and lift up those who need it most. Today, on Giving Tuesday, True Blue 1881, Inc is asking for your support to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
For many HBCU students, the path to a degree isn’t just about hard work—it’s about overcoming financial hardships, lack of consistent support from family or friends, and the sense of isolation that can come with struggling alone. If you’ve ever felt the stress of making ends meet in college or graduate school, or if you’ve ever faced a moment where hope seemed out of reach, you understand how even a small act of kindness can change everything.
True Blue 1881, Inc is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to providing direct assistance to HBCU students—no red tape, no GPA barriers, no long waits. We offer help when it’s needed most, covering educational expenses and basic needs like food and shelter, and connecting students with valuable resources and alumni. Our support comes straight from our organization, ensuring your generosity goes directly to those who need it most, when they need it.
