Dear Survivor,
What an amazing afternoon of love, fellowship, and entertainment we shared at Hats Off to Survivors. I hosted over 100 survivors. Your presence truly made the day special, and I am so grateful that you chose to spend your time at our event.
Please allow me to again express my sincere apology for the late start and seating delay especially as we were already contending with less than pleasant weather. Thank you for your patience and gracious spirit. Your understanding meant more than you know.
It is my heartfelt prayer that this year’s Hats Off to Survivors inspired you and brought peace to your soul. From the powerful spoken word to the stirring sounds of the saxophonist, and the moving presentation of Silent Witness, there was truly a spirit of God’s peace resting in the atmosphere. It was a reminder that even in the midst of life’s storms, His presence surrounds us with comfort and hope.
As Scripture reminds us:
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9
May that peace continue to rest with you long after this event has passed.
I am excited to share that Hats Off to Survivors is scheduled for Saturday, February 27, 2027. Please mark your calendar, invite a friend, and help us spread the survivor word. We look forward to gathering again in an even greater spirit of love, strength, and celebration.
