Tomorrow is our last basketball signups! Also we wanted to share that we have joined the Tri-County Youth Association league this year which means we will be playing schools that are our size or a little smaller. We understand that playing larger schools last year may have detoured some kids from wanting to play this year, so we wanted to make it known we have made that change!

ATTENTION!!!!! Last basketball signups are this week!

This is the sad reality of a city ball field that people in the community work really hard to improve and other people in the community don’t care enough to take care of it! The last two weeks the fields have been trashed, more so the softball field! Pitching mounds tore out of the ground, bases ripped up, bleachers taken out of the dugouts, b**r cans scattered all over the place. ATTENTION this is NOT your party ground! We work hard on these fields for the kids in this town to have a place to practice and play ball not for you to hang out and trash the place! It’s a very sad situation!

There are some big changes coming for the Atkins Youth Association as we push forward to making the program even bigger and better than before, one of these changes will be our change in AYA President! Three Harris has been our president for the past few years and with life changing and new opportunities for he and his family he has to decided to step away from AYA and let JT Keeling take over! Now JT is not new to AYA he has spent countless hours this past spring/summer season working on fields, addressing issues with parents and coaches, working with other commissioners and making sure things ran smoothly! We are excited for these changes and look forward to the improvements that will be in our future! Three thank you for being a part of the AYA we wish you nothing but the best in the next chapter! This is our official WELCOME to AYA as the President JT Keeling!
