NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

THAT the House of Representatives proclaim April 9, 2025, as Arkansas Lineworker Appreciation Day at the State Capitol and commend, on behalf of their constituents, the men and women who serve Arkansas as utility lineworkers for their efforts in keeping the power on and protecting public safety.

Help a family in need.

Nick McLendon is a Journeyman Lineman and a former IBEW 647 steward in Little Rock and their family needs our help. Nicks son Jackson has a rare form of kidney cancer and is facing a long road in his fight. Please see the attached photos and help however you can. I have seen the power and compassion of our membership to help in trying times. If you have any issues or questions, please feel free to reach out to me.
