We received a donation that meant more than just a mower, it reminded me where I started and where we are now!

A longtime Facebook friend, someone we connected with as teenagers when we were just stepping into the animal world, donated a mower to the center. Over the years, we’ve cheered each other on through life’s twists and wins, and this moment feels like a full circle kind of support.

This mower will help us keep the land clear and safe for the animals we’re caring for and the future we’re building. Thank you for showing up for us in such a needed way ,Oliver!

Phoebe worked hard this weekend, supervising her containment clean-out and upgrades.

We refreshed her mulch and added a new climbing branch, small changes that give her more freedom to stretch, scratch, and stay sharp. She inspected every inch, and we think she approves. She spent the better part of the evening batting around a favorite pine nugget.

Progress here happens one thoughtful step at a time, and we’re grateful for everyone helping us build this from the ground up.
