George Washington Hatchet Hunt The George Washington Hatchet Hunt is an annual Prize Hunt held in Athol Massachusetts on President's Day at the Athol Community Elementary School at 9:00am.

The Hatchet Hunt is Free and open to children from Pre-School Age to 15 years old.

It's that time of year again when we start collecting donations for the annual George Washington Hatchet Hunt. This year will be the 104th Hatchet Hunt. If you would like to donate a prize our funds to purchase prizes, they can be dropped off with Missi at the North Quabbin Chamber of Commerce in Athol. For more information please see the letter below.
