This group of passionate and dedicated women brings a wide range of experiences, ideas, and heart to our organization. Each board member shares a commitment to supporting our mission and making a meaningful impact within our community.

We’re so honored that we were chosen as P1FCU’s charity of the month 💕 Thank you for seeing our heart for service.

Last month, we had the opportunity to donate to Bestowing the Basics in Athol. This organization is very valuable to North Idaho, as it provides a range of personal care, hygiene, cleaning products, OTC medicines, pet food, and more to men, women, and children in need. Families can stop by our resource center to pick up essentials like diapers, wipes, shampoo, cleaning supplies, and more—completely free of charge.

Everyone deserves access to the basics.

⭐️D I D Y O U K N O W ? ⭐️

We have a shelf at our Resource Center dedicated to our Community Pantry at the Careywood Fire Station. Each week, between 10-20 people visit our pantry. They rely on us to ensure they have their next meal.

Typically, we receive donations of food that we hold onto for our pantry. Lately, those donations have run dry. Our incredible volunteer who oversees and restocks our pantry, Kimm, put together a list of most used and requested items. We purchased the items and spent almost $500. The hope is we can stretch this over the next 4-6 weeks, which is why we’re asking for your help.

If you’d like to donate items to our pantry, we’re asking for:
🐟 Tuna or other canned proteins
☕️ Instant coffee
🥞 Pancake mix and syrup (preferably the mix that doesn’t require oil)
🍎 Canned fruit
🥣 Other breakfast items like granola bars
🥫 Canned or bagged soups
